3 more Gingerbread Men

Three Gingerbread Men all in a row.ain't they cute ?!

I don't eat ginger hate the stuff but Love Gingerbread men.My aim this year is to try and make a Gingerbread house with the children.Decorate it in all its glory and have it on show.maybe we will make one for Family members if ours turn out.

I wonder if there's a way to make them smell christmassy like dab a little essential oil on their neck just before Christmas ?!

Did I tell you i love seam binding ribbon! comes in so many colours.Need to order some in reds,greens,gold and white and maybe some cream too.

I done a little bit of hand sewing while i was sick with Bronchitis.Feeling much better now.

Im itching to make a teddy bear latley ,maybe i will buy a kit and it can be my winter project. :)

I just love making things with wool felt,so soft and pretty.ooh my stash is looking sad need to order more ive just comleted a project for christmas 2 actually the candle mat and wall hanging haha but I can not show you because they are for one of my Christmas Swaps. :)

Today I received my parcel from Illene for the colour swap hosted by Lisa

my parcel is pink goodness.Illene is very cleaver she made me a parcel with each item starting with the letters of C=O=L=O=U=R

C-Coat hanger look at those frills gorgeous and love the lavender satchel

O-oven mitt so pretty isn't it.i don't own not one oven mitt i know strange but over time they went missing.gorgeous love it !

L-Lollies and Lotion mmmm yummy i ate a few strawberry chocolates already they are so yummy and the lotion smells divine.love chocolate! love the little bag!!

O-ornamental Pen such a pretty pink pen and the note pad is cool too

U-Umbrella pattern holder -hehehe this one made me laugh and i just love it those that know me know that I'm the pattern queen love patterns.oh and there is also a pattern in it but forgot to take picture.

R-Ribbon Rose Glass case.Lisa be good and put your reading glasses in it.I'm shocking i put my glasses down and loose them so many times.

and Illene also poped in a little something for my children thank you so so much :) .My son is over the moon.hes loving hes book .Girls ones are sitting on there bed waiting for them when they get home.

I enjoyed this swap and its also great to see what people come up with and what they send .Ive read a few blog posts already.

Colour Swap What I sent

This is what I sent my swap partner Illene .In Lisa's colour swap.
One of Illene's favourite colours are Pink so i went with the colour PINK. Illene also said she likes roses.
As our parcel need to include at least one handmade Item.After talking with Illene through email i decided to make her a Tilda Angel .I do hope you like her Illene i also included 2 Tilda pink birds {but forgot to take picture of them.

table runner in the making

Hello Blog Readers :)
In My Creative space sits this Block .I'm wanting to make my FIRST ever Table Runner.I absolutely love this owl fabric by Saffron Craig and wanting to make something special with  it  After doing a google search I came across a few Great Tutorials and awesome looking Table runners.

so Here I go BIG step for me taking the block to make a finish product in Quilting alot different to doll/softies making.But so Far I'm really enjoying the whole process.and who knows maybe I will be able to join on a table runner swap next time if there is one .

I even got my day's worth of exercise hehe {walking from the Kitchen table to the bench to iron .}

I'm thinking 3 or 4 blocks ? maybe add some sashing {is that what its called ?} and as for the binding haven't quiet decided on what to use.{eeek binding need to read /watch few tutorials}

I'm thinking with Christmas {yep the C word} only 7 months away {already } that it was time to make something festive {or maybe start now so i get it finished hehe }

I need to buy some more of the owl fabric and i have also noticed it comes in a white background red owls hmm think i might grab some of that one too to play around with.

Im really loving the colour red at the moment.

Santa Sack swap 2012

Hello Swappers,Cheryll is hosting another Santa Sack /stocking Swap this year.woohoo i missed Cherylls one last year so I def got my name down early this year.
